Respecting my users' privacy is something I find serious. Since I started to making Alert, I've aspired to build the application with a set of strong privacy principles in mind. This application was developed with emergency situations in mind. Imagine today, the anual crime (such as rape, kidnapping or theft) rate is still increasing. My main purpose is to provide a service where user can send a s.o.s message to alert either authority or their relatives to help. Considering the worst case scenario, it is hard for the victims to under go complex steps to trigger the emergency alert. Thus, I choose using the shake-to-trigger method and SMS as the main features. Information. Alert did not collect any information from the users.
